We were saddened to hear the news yesterday of Davy Jones’ passing. We decided to make a special flavor to commemorate him and his music. He always seemed like a happy, free spirit, and we think this flavor represents that.
Daydream Believer is a lemon cake filled with lemon curd and coconut cream topped with coconut marshmallow fluff. This cupcake will be offered starting today through the rest of the weekend. So pick up a cupcake and listen to the Monkees all weekend long. That’s what we’ll be doing. We’ll miss you, Davy. ♥Aww.

It’s nice to see Davy tributes from all over the world. It goes to show how much Davy/The Monkees have made an impact on people’s lives :)
and from so many unexpected people! davy was arguably the least popular amongst the online fandom, and yet the response to his passing has been so overwhelmingly positive and abundant. it makes me so, so happy to know there are at least some celebrities who can die without being immediate victims of cruelty.
